According to Microsoft research you have only and only 8 seconds to attract any reader and convert a lead into potential.if failed to attract can lead huge losses.
Blog post complete formatting that is standardized takes up-to 10 to 15 minutes only id you do then definitely you can never lose any of your reader that comes to your site for getting useful information.
Technical / Practical Tips fro Formatting Blog posts :
1 . Use Bullets highlights and lists :
If you see some professional blogs you will notice a lot of usage of bullet points and lists type articles on them. The reason is that:
- Lists increase readability
- Captures readers proper attention
- This also stands out from rest of the blog posts.
Instead from using lists, bullets and highlights, You can also highlights the important sections or sentences of your blog post. Your goal should be to format in a way that even if the reader reads out just the highlight points and the lists and points with bullets, he should be able to get the gist of the article only by reading them.
2 . Use Right Images in Articles :
According to A scientific Research which reflects that:
Humans process visual contents more efficiently than text.
According to worldwide research, articles with images get 94% more total views than articles without images. You can use an image, info-graphics, gifs(dynamic images), memes or screenshot. Use at least one image per blog post on your blog. The maximum number depends on the type and relevance of the posts.

You can also add captions to the image as it will increase the quality of content and will be more relevant.
3 . Use the Inverted Pyramid Method:
Using inverted pyramid means always start from conclusion and them move towards blog posts and told the reader why they are reading the post?The few initial line should explain whole the topic.
4 . Use highlight for quotes :
Highlight your blog post also increase readability and attracts user attention.if you write anything in quotes that separate that thing apart from Blog post but also have separate concept in viewers mind.Makes User interest to read.After highlight use inverted commas bold it Make the style italic and so on....

5. Use Sub-Headings:
This is also an important and use full working practical tip that Your sub-heading should be able to tell what that particular section is all about which thing?.
- For example, in this specific article, I have used 2 major sub-headings to elaborate my concept in this article, “why is blog post formatting important?”‘ and “Killer practical tips for technical formatting”. By just reading the sub-headings, it gives you an idea of what the section is all about plus it also draws readers attention towards it and make the readers intrest more towards it.
Always Use headings tags carefully and wisely in WordPress and as well as in blogger but in blogger there is problem of editing template for correcting tags in HTML. H1 tag is for blog titles of posts. H2 tag is the sub-heading of H1 tag and H3 tag is the sub-heading of H2 tag and so on....
5 . Scanablity :
Scan-able means parts of article consist of subheadings minor heading which consist of short passages to increase readability and should Make your article easy to browse through.So Within few seconds like 8 seconds as discussed above according to research, a reader decides whether he wants to read a content of your article or not. If your content is cluttered and not properly structured, it’s highly probable that the readers will click away before even knowing that how great your content was.

7. Use Call to action at the end:
Using call to cation Is important to let your readers know what you want them to do at the end of the article. Never assumed that they will take an action without asking for it. You can ask them to post a comment, share it with their friends or on social media, give suggestions or give them few bonus points like a free ebooks, etc.The key here is to let the readers take action before they clicks away from your blogs.
